I'm a Christian, a husband and a father to 1 beautiful little bundle of joy!

When I found out that my wonderful wife was pregnant the first thing that went through my head was "What am I gunna do?!"
Shortly thereafter I started thinking about all the various things my bundle of joy would need: Clothes, diapers, toys and of course books! I soon found myself picturing my daughter and I sitting in our rocker with a good book. I immediately headed toward the internet to find some recommended reading. As I sifted through the offerings that google brought up I started thinking about all the different kinds of books I wanted to get. Suddenly I was like a kid again! I wanted Dr. Seuss books, Golden Books, The Chronicles of Narnia, Mr Men and Little Miss books... the list seemed to go on and on. Then I started thinking that it'd be good to have some educational materials, like learning to read and homeschool curriculum. Pretty soon I had 10 shopping carts in 10 cyber stores filled with hundreds of items. Had I gone through check out my bill would have gone over a thousand dollars that day and I'd have been in the doghouse :)



As a new parent, I started to realize how handy it would be to have a simple one stop shop on the internet where I could buy all the children's books I desired for my daughter! I wanted to be able to find them new or used and I wanted some good recommendations. Soon after that thought, JuniorsBooks.com was born! I've searched the internet for the best deals and put them here.

After I listed my favorites and the classics my site still felt empty. I started thinking about how nice it would be to have a resource that listed the best children's authors. I thought it should include biographies and general info about all the best authors no matter how well known. So after much work, my Recommended Children's Book Author pages have been completed. Well I can't really call them "complete" as I am always updating them!
